Just One Day Left

There is just one day left to have your say on the proposed Kettering Walking and Cycling plan. The consultation closes at Midnight on Friday 19 May 2023.

This second consultation stage is enabling North Northants Council to understand the public's priorities -

Which routes should be developed first?

Which routes will make the biggest difference to local people's lives - enabling more people to walk, wheel, cycle or scoot safely for everyday journeys... whether to work, school, the shops, healthcare, social or leisure opportunities?

Which areas of the town have the greatest need for safe active travel connections?

Which industrial estates and the businesses based there most want to benefit from staff having safe, easy travel options to get them to work?

This stage is also enabling the project team to gather valuable information which will help shape the more detailed development of the schemes which can start once the overall plan is approved. We know the plan isn't perfect yet so your comments are invaluable. Having good local support (which we are already seeing) will help get it approved and then funding can be secured to enable the first routes to be developed well and built.

Even if you have already given your views, please help make this feedback as robust as possible by asking local friends and colleagues to follow the link and give their views too.
